Blog Entry 129: Morale Low

So, I was working on a blog entry all about my camping trip to Oscar Lake and the state of my world in general over the last few weeks. Then, after I spent roughly fifteen minutes composing my entry and uploading pictures for your viewing pleasure, there was some kind of BIG PROBLEM and I lost everything I had done, which caused me to GET MAD and not post anything at all.

So maybe after the long weekend I'll post some pictures of my camping trip. They're totally sweet, though if you're my facebook friend, you've already seen the best one.

In other news, I went to my cousin Michael's wedding in Winnipeg last weekend. It was lots for fun, and there were parties, and the food was excellent, and the booze was free. What more can a dude who likes food and booze ask for? (Answer: large-breasted Asian girl with low standards).

Off to my lake for the long weekend. I'm super-duper excited to get up there, even more than usual, because Canada Day always gives me a chance to see people that I havn't hung out with in a while.

My Berfday

I celebrated my birthday a couple of times these last few days. I had a shindig on Saturday night up at Emma, and it was a pretty awesome time. I whipped up a mess of Chicken Adobo, and a pile of potato salad, and we had booze and food and good times to spare. Then last night my boy Lee had hisself a barbeque, so I got to celebrate my birthday again! There were ribs and garlic toast and cake and pie...and scotch. Lots of scotch. But once again, the "birthday blessing" held true: No matter what I do to myself on my birthday, I don't wake up with a hangover. I can't explain it, and I don't understand it, but it's true, and I'm glad.

I'm planning a little excursion up to Oscar Lake next weekend. I probably won't post until after that, but maybe if you're lucky I'll give you some pictures to look at.
